update just to let you know i live, may not be my best but it moves things along. Also the combat scenes written by sonofccn and Preao inspired me to do a little something. Jackson has a brief cameo..He brawls with Im'pec learns a life lesson and gains some respect. Im'pec openly declares Kashyyk as his protectorate in true over the top Klingon fashion.
Hope you guys like, up next Vi'retess, Seksil, Zsinj and Alexander all begin plotting to screw each other over...

"I remember entering the banquet hall after the Exterminators had broken the lines and ended the siege. I remember hearing about the ground fighting being monstrous and that it was still going. In the banquet hall I saw the Ram Grand Admiral Thanagar sitting on altar I'm guessing was dedicated to Founder worship surrounded by Vorta, Next to him was High General Jaxor bloodied and filthy and that Silver handed Giant Im'pec all surrounded by the bodies of fallen Dominion horde with blue ashes all around the room, they called themselves god slayers and drank and feasted while their men reveled outside, blaspheming the Founders daring them to come and retake the world" Jerret Morden Imperial News Network - memories of the great war-
The Rain came poring down, lightening smashed into one of the gigantic trees illuminating another wise deeply darkened sky painting a curious picture. Seven creatures covered in armor plated and ancient looking stood tall, peculiar bladed weapons held in the hands of three, with the other four wielding swords and axes. Their energy weapons a pistol at the side and a rifle on their backs were unused. Their faces covered in masks hiding their grim expressions watched, the rain drenching their capes the wind swooshing them around giving them the appearance of ominous and forlorn statues of an era long passed into legend.
They stood watching a giant with one metal hand, his armor removed revealing a grizzled face hardened by years of combat the furs that made up the elegant padding around his neck and shoulders were harvested from some of the most dangerous animals on Kashyyk a testament to the beings skill. Rain was poring down thunder again struck to reveal that he had discarded his swords and weaponry. Behind him lay twelve dead men, all in imperial Storm Trooper uniforms, their broken bodies lay dead where they had no sooner attempted to fight back, one blaster was completely severed in half the trooper lay gasping and wheezing his armor hewn and his chest split completely open, lunges exposed to cool rain soaked quivered and shook as the trooper bitterly clung to life until the darkness finally took.
Grim and standing tall the metal handed giant also stood between himself and several frightened fury creatures desperately clinging to two grown ups their frightened whaling had faded replaced with a scared but instant curiosity. They could not look away at this mysterious big creature and his armored friends who appeared from nowhere cloaked and then met imperial blaster with blade.
In front of the giant stood a young imperial officer he was in his uniform, he was tall and powerful built like an oxen, and relentless. He spat blood from his mouth, having lost several teeth, he roared in defiance, earlier today commander Jackson was given an order, one he disliked intensely by the local imperial Moff. In the wake of the Dominions sweeping victories those who had power feared the Wookies would rebel, fiercely proud and horribly abused the Wookies had chafed under imperial Dominion for decades and would do so no longer, or so was the rumor they smelled death in the air and sought to undue the empire. This was what he was told and thus he lead a detachment of one hundred storm troopers to a local village his orders were to slaughter everyone. Furious and having lost a brother at Chomell Commander Jackson was all to willing to throw his frustration on the innocent wookies, intoxicated in resentment and the rage at the humiliation and loss his people suffered he saw Dominion agents in women and children and it made his disgust at his own orders easy to project on the enemy. When the frightened wookies fought back when his men began dying he lost himself utterly in his rage. Jackson who graduated at the top of his class in hand to hand skills (having won over a hundred sparring sessions most in under a minute) had challenged the village leader, snapping the elder Wookies neck. It was so easy to loose ones self in the darkness of rage and grief that he did things, things that lead him here, cornering six little things who had done no harm to him to murder in an act of barbarity that dishonored the worlds ‘civilization” “duty” “honor” so drunk was he that he did not see the enemy until a blade removed his second in commands head.
He reared around quickly and saw a gigantic armored demon who laid into his men with a righteous fury, he cursed them loudly as he slaughtered them the words had no meaning to him for he did not speak it’s language but the implication was clear. Cowards, weaklings, bullies He said this as he slaughtered Jacksons men cutting them down, like crops before a thresher. Cutting them down as he had prior cut down the wookies. Jacksons rage boiled over and he challenged the giant who broke his gun Jackson rolled and using an imperial field knife drew a thick pinkish blood that oozed out of a gash on the left thigh between armor. The creature growled and took his armor off his eyes showed thrill in fighting a determined enemy but there was also something else. Something that sent Jackson over the edge
Pity, it pitied him or rather pitied what he had become and that sent him into a frenzy of resentment and the two had spent the last hour locked in a brutal brawl, the creature he was sure could have killed him at will but the calm eyes and smiling face as he parried his blows and matched him and tossed him around told him of something else. Was this creature trying to help him? He seemed to reach out as a warrior with his fists and a worthy enemy touched something long buried in Jacksons soul. It made him feel worse.
Im’pec watched him in battle, he knew the type talented and powerful forced into a war that brought to the surface lingering emotions of rage and resentment emotions that his people had reveled in like drunken maniacs. He remembered a young impudent Klingon child who raged at a powerful warrior sage. He eyed him intently bringing his fist into the boy’s liver, which made Jackson gasp lurch forward and stagger before retaliating with a ferocious blow to the face that impressed Im’pec or must have given his reaction was to let out a loud merry laugh that made his stomach shake, a knee smashed into Jacksons stomach knocking him back. Jackson staggered to his feet he looked back realizing at least one of his men was alive and watching him, depending on him to achieve victory against this unknown Dominion devil. He roared and came forward but a blow to the face followed by a knee ramming his eye sent him down to the floor. “You wish to fight for them boy?’ the giant had said now in perfect basic “you are too late, you should have fought for him back in the village before you allowed him to slaughter innocents” he said “they were traitors to the empire!” he roared “your being here is proof” he shouted Im’pec only laughed “silly fool you think me a Dominion agent?’ he grinned “I am in fact an ally of your precious Grand Admirals” he said Jackson gasped rage fleeing his body “I don’t believe you” “oh? Does it matter? What purpose did you have to engage in slaughter?” “They were siding with the enemy” “says who?” Jackson stood up eying him intently barely able to stand “judge me but not my men” “why?” he asked “why should I not put the remaining few who cling to life out of their misery? “ “Because they are my men, if you feel they have done wrong punish me I lead them to it” “if I feel?” Im’pec walked forward “a soldier does not do what you have done; he does his empire no service by handing the Dominion a new ally one so deep in your territory”
Jackson’s eyes widened had he just carried out an order that gift wrapped Kashyyk to the Dominion? Had he enraged the wookies? Rage filled him now more at his commander, then anything guilt being more than he could bare he shook it quickly from his mind “you’re lying! You’re a Dominion agent!” he roared, while it was the most logical answer, his mind was beginning to wander and doubt. Either way he refused to believe it now. Im’pec smiled and walked towards the ground eying the little remnants of an imperial field knife that he had shattered with a powerful strike earlier in the fight. He rose up again eying him intently holding it with his mechanical hand “Do you know why I have this hand boy?” he asked “it was taken from me for my dishonor, because I did what you have done” he said “I look at this metallic replacement all my days” he said “remember” he walked forward Jackson was exhausted, the injuries the adrenaline wearing off his body just couldn’t continue and he fell to one knee eying him grimly rage in his eyes. Im’pec eyed him as if sizing him up then gripped his chin with other hand and jammed the blade deep into Jackson’s eye.
Seeing pain gripped him when he woke, quickly touching his wounded eyed feeling a patch over he was now under cover high up near the village with his wounded men treated and sedated. The giant stood over him “it is a long walk to your base” he said “you may yet survive and get your men home” he remarked eying him “but before you do We will have spoken of what transpired here to your leaders, they will know the price of their misconduct” he said simply “you may yet stand trial”
“or I’ll be given a metal you Jem’Hadar scum” he spat Im’pec laughed at that “you know nothing of the Jem’Hadar’ he hissed “I know my brother died defending Naboo against them” he hissed “I know that I will personally kill over a thousand of them before this wars end and that it will be by my hands that Vi’retess pays for all the blood of the mid rim territories” he shouted
“on that day look back” he said gesturing to the Wookies who now stared at him coldly but firmly no fear in their eyes “on them and the honor they showed today in sparing your life” he said before walking away sliding back on his great cape made out of the furs and wool of predators uncounted and sheathed his great sword that took two of his men to lift. Eying the Wookies the giant Dahar Master smiled “and know this people of the forest! Though Tyrants oppress and Demon gods in the guise of freedom fighters come for your souls! That you are not alone, that I Im’pec the Silver handed! Im’pec the Tyrant slayer and Killer of gods stand with you! That hence force I shall reap terrible vengeance upon all those who harm you!” he declared before uttering a guttural word into his com device and vanishing in a swirl of yellow light.
Dagobah – same time
Yoda settled down in a nice and comfortable chair for the first time in ages, the warmth of the vessel its environmental control technology a magnificent improvement as this place had none of the humidity of his home when other vessels of this size would have been cycling air from the outside. The young one remained polite if a bit absent minded he went about touching his controls and the like if he was a sith spawn he was unlike any he had encountered before, his mental defenses were superb but Yoda even weak and sick as he was, was one of the most powerful entities in this galaxy and the only two beings who could ever really block his probing were Dooku and Sidious this was raising all sorts of red flags. Had his skills diminished that dramatically? Just how much had illness and stagnation affected him or was this being something much, much more. Calm eyes watched the boy as he went about his business, then food appeared from nothing and Yodas jaw dropped “new this technology is?” “no, we’ve had it for over a hundred years” he said “I mean in it’s current form we had other means of replicating food not nearly as efficient for at least two hundred years” “Quinn” said smiling, Yoda frowned the boy must have come from the unknown regions or far beyond, “for almost nine hundred years, walked this galaxy I have and never encountered such marvels I have”
“Oh really?” he asked surprised “well that makes sense I scanned a few ships on my way into this sector not the most advanced’ he said “oh, scanned them you did?” he asked “yeah” he said “this place really is off the beaten path huh?” he asked Yoda chuckled accepting the food and enjoying it greatly, feeling himself refreshed and worry begin to lift. “I mean it seems like a good place to hide” he said in an innocent tone. Yoda immediately set his plate down and hopped off his seat limping slowly to the open latch “huh what happened? Did I offend?” he asked blinking Yoda gestured to the muddy waters ‘a good spot for fishing that is’ he said “a better catch it will yield” he said sternly, the boy smiled ‘now what makes you think I was fishing” Yoda turned “old I maybe but senile I am not” Yoda explained calmly “powerful you are in the force to uplift my mood such to shield yourself from my mind, but too obvious you are’ he added his countenance stern. The boy quirked an eyebrow “the force?” he asked “wait...Did you just mistake me for a dark jedi?’ he asked Yodas eyes narrowed “far away I thought you were from, suspicious your mind is betray you your thoughts do” he said, Yoda was ancient he had trained literally thousands of sentient beings in his long life and he could tell when someone was being false even without the force or he used to be able too. Since Sidious revealing himself and Anakin falling much of what he prided himself on he now bitterly disregarded. “I am but you mistake me, or that is you don’t see me for what I am. Pity “he said Yoda shook his head “too old for games I am” “but it’s clear to you know now I am not here to harm you” he said then shook his head “he warned me about you” he said grinning “that you had become cynical and bitter in your old age and wished to be one with the force and be done with it’ Yoda turned eying him “Warned you he did? And who is this he?” Could he have been in communion with Obi-wan? Was he the other, Yoda Felt? Quinn smiled “why Qui Gon Jin of course” Yoda eyed him surprised “or was it lost on you, the reason why he ceased chatting with you?” Yoda breathed hard and walked forward “an illusion this all is” he said eying him intently Yoda didn’t know what he was but this thing knew too much, acted too familiar too wise for something so young. “No” he said “I really did come in a ship you really did eat me food” he said grinning “then again if I wanted too I could have come in a flying cathedral if I so chose” he grinned before snapping his fingers the ship vanished. Yoda took a step back defensively and then focused on him. The boy must have allowed him passed his defenses because Yoda finally got a glimpse of what he really was. Yoda fell to his knees overwhelmed this creature was power given form, timeless eternally newborn yet older than the stars themselves, it was a creature from beyond yet bound to the stars of his little universe. Yoda felt young before this being and when he gazed upon the bright radiance of it’s aura he felt his sickness fleeing his body, his weary bones grew strong against and entropy seemed to cast away it’s horrid chains.
“I am sorry for deceiving you, my people are terrible at subtlety, it’s in fact the only thing we’re bad at” he grinned Yoda chuckled “ a sin arrogance is” he said calming down, it was clear this creature could kill him as an after thought but was not doing so. He was no threat to the old Jedi and Yoda relaxed. “Maybe but who’s gonna punish us” he laughed “Tell me something old master, do you really want to entrust the future of the new order to a green horn barely able to move objects without focusing utterly?” he asked Yoda nodded “the sins of the past our future must avoid, besides time I no longer have”
“What if I offered to give you time” he said “I wont restore your youth to you not completely but I will return to you...a hundred maybe two hundred years of life” he said Yoda eyed him “Free such a gift would not be?” he asked Q grinned ‘oh no, gramps trust me it’s a debt your gonna work your ass off to pay back”
Yoda smirked “what payment can Yoda offer, oh great cosmic creditor” he said with an impish laugh “oh great cosmic creditor? I like that it’s so delightfully blasphemous hmmm” he thought “oh I know, the alliance to restore the Republic headed by Mon Mothma is at war with the Great Galactic Empire who’s forces are lead by someone you once knew” he said “a Captain Guylos?” he asked Yoda frowned “an Imperial Admiral he became?’ he asked shaking his head “oh he leads a faction interested in a much different empire than your sith enemy one…You might actually like” “hard to believe that is” “the galaxies been turned upside down the Alliance has made some unsavory allies” Yoda frowned “oh? Poor judgment Mon Mothma never had” Yoda said but then again neither did Guylos and he was a Grand Admiral whatever that was people seemed to change. Q grinned “she was desperate they were on the verge of utter annihilation so she turned to a holy army from a distant Galaxy” he said “an Armada of crusaders who worship living gods” he said in an over the top melodramatic voice “gods of order who make the Sith look like pacifists” he said Yoda frowned “and Luke has become an unwitting pawn of their great Preacher a Devil in his own right” “hmm, much work there is to be done” he said
Q grinned “you got that right” “take me to young skywalker you must” Q shook his head “I can only revamp your body because you were not meant to die now, or next year but much later, you still have a part that must be played – but I cannot take you from here” “then wasted your divine intervention is” “not really, there are three forces that come from outside. Two are here already the final will come in two forms one will be a Jackal the other will be two eagles they will seek you out, they will find you, and you will find yourself among company that will change everything”
Yoda sat back as the being vanished leaving him a small replicator some new robes and feeling much better with a new sense of hope and adventure but also worry – After all what could possibly be worse than a Sith Lord?
